RENT A RACK

Have your children’s clothing sold in store without the hassle of photographing, listing, pricing and dealing with customers.

​

You can also share a rack with a friend and split the rental fee between you.

 

RACK DETAILS

​

$80 rental fee + 20% commission on sales

​

Your Rent A Rack includes:

  • Up to 50 items

  • 7 days on display in-store

  • We prepare, steam, photograph and display your items

  • 1 social media Reel featuring your items

  • 1 social media Story

  • Individual photos of items available to send to online enquiries where requested

  • We handle customer enquiries and sales during your rental period

 

WHAT WE ACCEPT

​

We are looking for premium, quality children’s clothing that is clean, current and in excellent condition.

​

Think:

  • Seasonal clothing

  • Quality and premium brands

  • Clothing that is clean and ready to sell

  • Items with minimal signs of wear

​

We do not accept:

  • Kmart

  • Big W

  • Best & Less

  • Stained or marked items

  • Damaged items

  • Items with excessive wear

  • Clothing that is heavily faded, stretched or otherwise not in suitable selling condition

Kiddos Kloset reserves the right to decline any item that does not meet our quality or brand requirements. Items that are declined will not be displayed or included in your rack.

 

 

PRICING

​

We recommend keeping individual item prices under $25 to encourage quicker sales.

​

You are welcome to choose your own prices, or our team can recommend a suitable selling price based on the brand, condition and current market value.

​

Please note that Kiddos Kloset may recommend adjusting the price of an item if we believe the original price may affect its ability to sell.

HOW IT WORKS

​

1. BOOK YOUR RACK

​

Secure your 7-day Rent A Rack booking by paying the $80 rental fee.

​

2. DROP OFF YOUR ITEMS

​

Bring up to 50 approved items to Kiddos Kloset 4 days before your rental period begins. This allows us time to prepare your rack.

​

3. WE DO THE WORK

​

We will prepare, steam, photograph, price/display and promote your items before placing them on your rack for 7 days of trading.

​

4. YOUR ITEMS GO ON SALE

​

Customers can purchase your items in-store during your rental period. We will handle the sales and customer enquiries.

​

5. GET PAID

​

At the completion of your rental period, we will calculate your total sales, deduct the 20% commission, and pay you the remaining balance.

 

​

UNSOLD ITEMS

​

Any items that have not sold at the end of your 7-day rental period must be collected from Kiddos Kloset.

We will contact you when your rental period has finished to arrange collection.

​

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

​

  • The $80 rental fee is non-refundable once your booking has been confirmed.

  • Items must be dropped off by the agreed drop-off date so we have sufficient time to prepare your rack.

  • Items must meet our quality and brand requirements before being accepted.

  • Kiddos Kloset reserves the right to decline individual items.

  • The maximum number of items per rack is 50.

  • Items are displayed for 7 days of trading.

  • Kiddos Kloset retains 20% commission on all items sold during the rental period.

  • The remaining 80% of the selling price will be paid to the rack owner after the rental period has ended.

  • Once an item has been sold, the sale is final and the item cannot be returned to the rack owner.

  • Kiddos Kloset is not responsible for normal wear and tear that may occur while items are being handled or displayed in-store.

Want to split the cost?

​

You are welcome to share a rack with a friend. The maximum combined number of items remains 50 items per rack, and all items must meet Kiddos Kloset’s acceptance requirements.

​

The rack owner/rack booker is responsible for communicating with their friend regarding the division of the rental fee and proceeds.
